A downloadable game for Windows
Clockwatch, a short platformer about gods & clockwork.
After the Timekeeper was attacked by a fierce, cold-blooded deity, Emily sets out to investigate the cause and repair all damage that has been done. With the help of her trusty wrench, she ventures off to combat this mysterious entity and restore the space-time continuum to its rightful state.
The original jam version was created in 48 hours during Global Game Jam 2020, which is available below.

Is there a set way you're supposed to go? Also, do any of the mechanics get explained?
I got the first power sapling and multiple routes are available and they all seem terrible to traverse. I'm worried there's going to backtracking and no map. I found blocks with diamonds on them that works as very ineffectual springs but they just push me into death.
....Is there no save option? =(
I really would like to know how to save.

Checking out all your games. Though wish we could claim this, don't have access to pc so I can't download it now. Options are always good
Is there actually a grappling hook and power drill in the game or did you just put that in to drive me nuts? I looked all over the first few areas and can't seem to find them! Had a lot of fun with the game, though, so thanks for putting it out there!
really cool game so far, not sure if there is any point in freeing the cockwheels in most of the normal screens. (or rather in any screen that doesnt have a door or barrier)
would have loved to explore youngmar more.
but oh well. looking forward to the sequel! :-)
The finale video
Made a video for the full release
I also dunno what "power drill or grappling hook" means
are those the old names of some items?
Another technical issue:
You can just... not do the February fight; you can just go to the golden grass area once you get dash and the story acts like you did the february fight.
did you forget to put a gate/check there?
Also, side note: Alex, did your interactions with myself and Eclipse... like personal interactions... manifest in Thomas' journal?
I see a lot of parallels...
Technical Issues:
Early in the game, i encountered some Controller drift - Emily constantly inching left. I managed to fix it with reWASD mapping, so it might just be my controller. I want others to test it with their controllers so i can be sure
Too easy to accidentally skip portal scene -- if you get too close to February and the portal, they just disappear and the dialogue is skipped. This is bad because if the dialogue does not play, then the flag/trigger to make Thomas' journal appear is not set and you are permalocked out of it. (Yes, i datamined your code)
Heal wrench makes the entire game WAY too easy - you removed all semblance of challenge. I found it on my first playthrough so its not even much of a secret where it is.
Crash after game end cutscene -- it says "press any key to return", but when you do--

Oh yeah @ the crash - i did press the button on my controller... when i observed someone else play on keyboard, they did not experience the crash.
Must have something to do with how GameMaker handles controller input

Fanart I originally drew on @Aplove 's Discord:
I raged so hard at this game XD. I'm awful at platformers but I powered through and winning was that much sweeter! I'd really love to see an expanded version of this.
I made a playthrough with a few other games if you'd like to see my personal reaction 😊🤗
Awesome! Thank you for playing!
